The story
A few years ago I was making apps on an Intel Mac and wanted to add machine learning to them. Training my own models there was slow, and a new Mac was a big expense. So I bought an iPad Air with the M1 chip, because it was much cheaper.
The iPad had all the power needed to train machine learning models, and yet I could not find an app that let me do it. To train your own model you still needed a Mac, code or a service in the cloud. I thought that if I had that problem, many students, teachers and curious people had it too. So I built the app I was missing.
