1. Introduction
MagicaLCore is an iPad application for training image classification machine learning models on the device. It is developed by an independent developer (hereinafter, "the Developer"). The Developer reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page with the corresponding update date.
2. Your images and your models
Training happens locally on your iPad. The images you select to train or test a model are read from the folder you choose in Files and are not uploaded to the Developer or to any third party to train a model.
The models you create are saved inside the app, together with the information you enter for them: project name, author, short description, extended description and creation date. If iCloud is enabled on your Apple account, saved models can be synced between your own devices through your iCloud account. The Developer does not have access to your images, your models or that information. Apple manages iCloud in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at apple.com/privacy.
When you export a model, the .mlmodel file is saved wherever you choose in Files and includes the project information you entered.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of MagicaLCore shows ads provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect the following data from your device:
- Identifiers: the device advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking) and other device identifiers.
- Advertising data: information about the ads you see and interact with.
- Diagnostics and usage data: such as crash data, performance data and general device information needed to deliver ads.
Some of this data may be linked to your device and, if you allow it, used to show personalized ads and to track activity across apps and websites owned by other companies. This matches the information declared on MagicaLCore's App Store listing.
App Tracking Transparency: MagicaLCore asks for your permission before allowing personalized advertising. If you decline, AdMob shows non-personalized ads. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
MagicaLCore Pro removes the ads. AdMob's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy, and information about how Google uses data from apps is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
4. Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The Developer does not receive your payment details. The app stores locally which purchase is active so it can unlock Pro features.
5. Device permissions
MagicaLCore may request the following permissions:
- Camera: to test your model with the live camera. Camera frames are processed on the device and are not stored or sent.
- Files and folders: to import the folders with your training and test images, import existing models and export the models you create.
- Tracking: to allow personalized ads, as described in section 3.
All permissions are optional. You can revoke them at any time from your device's Settings.
6. Use of data
The Developer does not sell your personal data. The information you enter in the app is used only to train, store, test and export your models. Data collected by AdMob is processed by Google under its own policies to deliver and measure ads.
7. Contact by email
If you contact the Developer via contactus@magicalcoreapp.com, your email address will be used exclusively to respond to your inquiry. You will not receive unsolicited communications.
8. Minors
MagicaLCore is not directed at minors under 16 years of age. If you become aware that a minor has provided personal data through the application, please contact us at contactus@magicalcoreapp.com.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, rectification or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing. Because the Developer does not hold your images or models, you can delete them yourself at any time from the app's History or by deleting the app. For data processed by Google AdMob, you can reset your advertising identifier and manage tracking in your device Settings.
10. Cookies on this website
This section applies to www.magicalcoreapp.com only.
This website uses no cookies at all unless you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. If you accept, the site may load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (_ga, _gid) to count visits and see which pages are read. IP addresses are anonymised, and the data is only used in aggregate to improve this site.
If you reject, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are created. Only your choice is stored, in your browser's local storage, so the banner is not shown again.
You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, or by clearing your browser data for this site. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
11. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by Spanish law and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
